The Pat Garrett Amphitheater is located at the foothills of the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania in rural Berks County. This rustic, yet world class amphitheater is home to country legend Pat Garrett, who built the amphitheater in 1994 for the soul purpose of bringing top notch country acts to the greater Berks County area. From 1994 to 2005, Pat Garrett Amphitheater hosted country greats such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Charlie Daniels, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and Billy Ray Cyrus. Pat Garrett Amphitheater is also home to superstar Taylor Swift, who got her start playing for larger audiences at the venue. In 2005, Pat Garrett decided to pursue other ventures and the amphitheater sat empty for 10 years. In 2015, Flagship Music Productions gained exclusive booking rights to the facility and has since brought a variety of entertainment to the venue including national touring acts, food festivals, community functions, agricultural events, and national dance competitions.
The amphitheater is conveniently located just off Exit 19 on Route I-78 in northern Berks County, Pennsylvania making it an easy destination for travelers to access. The venue is less than four hours from Pittsburgh, and two hours or less from New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Harrisburg.
